Acupuncture for Muscle Pain Providence, RI
You Have An Ache The Nothing Seems To Help
We have all been there before, some reason we have pain, and no matter what we try to do the pain remains. This can be muscle or tendon tenderness from an accident, from playing sports, from exercising or something as natural as carrying a child.
Our bodies are well made but they are very easy to damage. Luckily, we are in the business of mending damaged bodies so that their owner’s can feel great, be happy, stay active, and continue to enjoy life. We will go over several topics in this article that relate to reducing pain and muscle tenderness in the body.
You Are Willing To Try Just About Anything
If you really are in a lot of pain, you are probably willing to do just about anything to solve your problem. We know that might sound a little wild, but pain can really take over your emotions.
Luckily, this is not an article about the worst case scenario, although we will warn you about some paths to pain relief, we instead want to focus on how a holistic approach will help you experience less muscle tenderness, and how it can help you quickly heal and feel better.
You Do Not Want To Be A Slave To Pills
One sad thing about the medical field is that it has become pretty much all about giving patients pills. There is a huge epidemic of pain killer abuse in this country because doctors hand out these pills like they are candy. It is very dangerous to do this, these pills are very addicting, and they can even ruin your life.
This might all sound alarmist and over the top, but the heroin epidemic among middle and upper middle class people in this country stems from the over prescribing of opiate pain killers, which leads a lot of people to heroin. Pain killers are serious business.
You Have Read About The Power of Touch
We are pretty much sure that you have heard about the power of touch, how it is important for infants, children and even adults. You have probably heard about how it helps with empathy, but one thing that it also helps with is managing and reducing pain.
You might be wondering how can touch help with pain? That is a good question. Touch helps with pain because it stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, it sends signals to the brain that release endorphins and dopamine, and these two neuro-chemicals are responsible for relaxation, pleasure and well being. Touch is one of the most holistic ways to treat pain.
You Are Willing To Try Acupuncture
As much as some people are willing to try various ideas, not everyone is willing to try acupuncture for their muscle tenderness. It is a shame that they are not because acupuncturist get great results, they are able to make their patients feel better, forget about their pain, and enjoy themselves.
If suffering from less pain, feeling better and being happier are your things, then you must give acupuncture a try for reducing your muscle tenderness that you are currently experiencing.
You Are Ready To Start Right Now
Well, this will not be the first time that someone has read one of our articles and decided that they need to immediately book an appointment. This typically happens when a person either is in a lot of pain or when they are excited about trying something new. No matter why you are ready to book an appointment, we are happy to meet you.
Depression, Extreme Fatigue, Muscle Pains & Weakness
Acupuncture made me feel both relaxed and energized. I will never forget during one of my earlier treatments actually feeling increase in blood flow! There is minimal to no pain with needle application.
On recommendation of Dr. Tad I stopped drinking icy beverages as well as stopped eating raw foods, and dairy. I have a nice warm tea with every meal, usually spiced Chai, which has ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon which aids in digestion. Also eat very little meat.
I was able to discontinue 4 of the 10 medications I was using and cut in half majority of the others-with the expectation of also discontinuing those as well.
After my first acupuncture treatment I was no longer suffering from depression. Since then, with each successive treatment, I have seen a huge increase in energy and decrease (if not complete resolution) of all muscle pain and weakness. I still have some sore days, but I no longer walk and feel like a disabled person. I walk proud!
We are still working on the weight loss.
My body has not felt this good in a decade! I feel like myself again!
